I blame covid for making my company realize that people can work from home and they don't need as much trips as they used to before

I went to a conference a month ago, and I had the best best best time. Travel is excellent, the people you meet are even more excellent.

yeah, the lack of business trips is an issue. though I quit trips for a while after my son. Then the one after, I really thought I has something going somewhere with a coworker in another city, all the signs as we painted the town, drove us back to the hotel, but no suggestions or invites when I commented I didn't think I was ready to call it a night. Then went to the bar next to the hotel, alone, had a drink, and no one appeared next to me. I may not know how to do the business trip pickup anymore lol.
