oh my favorites are the mugger raccoons. There are several smaller islands where raccoons have come to see humans as a food source. They are friendly and beg, but will totally go through your bags and boats and steal all your food.

I have hope for our monkeys to start mugging tourists someday. fingers crossed.

Alligators are awful. Forget about sharks. They are not a worry. And I like Key West but after a few days it can get old. Downtown St Pete. Go visit. Or Ann Maria. Maybe Cedar Key or Appalachicola. Go watch a bunch of Spring Training or best high school football in country.

Why do you love alligators? They kill people here weekly. They are aggressive and no fun. You should not swim in any lakes or rivers here because of alligators

We got monkeys too, sometimes they'll come up to your table and still a piece of fruit or something. But they're not indigenous, they were brought over by the Spanish

oh you are too hard on them. The aren't crocodiles. Florida averages one death every two years, and I lay odds, some of the old ones especially, pre 90s, were possibly body dumps. As for non fatal attacks, florida man needs to stop picking them up going, hey look a gator lol.

That said I do have a rule for my child and myself to not go in our lake at night. well after dawn, well before dusk. night swimming is more risk than I am willing to take.
