Do you ride Strix??
I have, a little. Practically at the beginner level still. And now that I moved back to the city I could just as well sell my riding shoes (I had a helmet borrowed from a friend). Without a car it won't be easy to get anywhere, and the prices are above my budget here. In the countryside it was pretty cheap to ride.

I think it must be more expensive in the cities wherever you are. I definitely could not afford my own horse at this time.

I think so too. And even in the countryside going riding every week was only an option whent I was still working. I calculated that as it was close (pretty much on my way back from work), and my dancing hobbit would have been 50km away, considering the driving costs it was pretty much the same. But now... I rather use my hobbit budget for dancing, I get more with the same money, and I get the human touch I crave.

Maybe if I found a wealthy Daddy one day I could do them both :sneaky:

I’m pretty sure in America you can sign a waiver releasing the facility from responsibility if you are injured, but they have definitely gotten stricter with the rules. Not that I’m opposed to that. Especially since they have upgraded the helmet standards and they are more likely to prevent injuries now
riding insurance, for horses? do you do it for cattle too? Yeah, don't think that is a thing in bumblefuck lol.
