Chaotic Coffee Klatch (tea also available)

in florida, there is no law. Thin the herd I guess. actually I fib a little, minors have to wear them.
In RI passengers on a motorcycle have to wear a helmet but the driver doesn’t. I’m CT there is no law. At least for adults. Always gives me the heebee jeebies when I see people flying on motorcycles not wearing helmets and shit

I’ll telling you what, my horse riding helmet has always caused headaches. And

same
though, I have to say, I learned to appreciate my riding helmet. I often didn't wear one unless around kids because I am lazy. Had a super minor fall during some jumps, had the helmet on because of kids. I would have even said I just landed on my ass. Once I removed my helmet, my barrette pinning my hair up was in dozens of pieces. Bet that would have really hurt without the helmet, and again I thought of it as a nothing fall. helmet headache probably worth it.

The seeds in my pumpkin have been scrambled for longer than I can remember.

I wear mine more in the presence of children as well. Try to set a good example. I’ve popped over a crossrail without wearing one but if I know I’m going to do some serious jumping I put one on. I love that you ride/rode horses!

Here it's a must. The riding insurance requires you to wear one.
I’m pretty sure in America you can sign a waiver releasing the facility from responsibility if you are injured, but they have definitely gotten stricter with the rules. Not that I’m opposed to that. Especially since they have upgraded the helmet standards and they are more likely to prevent injuries now

Here we don't really do waivers.

Wasn’t trying to be sexist. That’s just how I learned to play this game.
