Do tell!!!
ok, Target theory, You go to Target, and it is mostly the basic mom bitches, as you know, we like our Target's. We meet there for socialization and entertainment with our yoga pants, our starbucks, and if we are lucky we ditched the kids and hubby. See, we have packed away ourselves for mom life, however errands have to be run, so Target was a good excuse, then we did it for so long, we no longer know what entertainment the world has to offer or what we'd do with it, so Target stays the place to be.

Now, there is also though a less obvious non group dynamic for some. They go there when looking for the entertainment of the feeling of picking up something new, often picking up things they don't need. They are the reformed party girls. Slutty, life of the party, but packed it all away for mom life. Here is the thing, the desire for the rush does not always pack away, it seeps out, pulling beneath the surface. These are the women that often become the clearance junkies and extreme deal hunters. They miss the rush of the hunt, the success, that excitement of someone new, so they channel it an appropriate way. Except it just doesn't quite work, especially if the sales are poor. So now you have got a bored woman, just looking to pick up something new for any form of excitement at all, and not getting it. Look for this woman in the clearance aisles of target, she is looking a little frustrated, pacing as she is looking for something she can't find on that shelf, because she is looking for a feeling that isn't clicking. Kick a decent game, she will find it very hard to resist a little excitement for just a little while.

I know, I know sounds crazy, but watch an extreme couponing show or something. Is my theory really crazy? Do you really think she is that excited about her salad dressing shelf? Watch their mannerisms, their body language, is she really the prim and proper housewife mask she has on? Is she really that thrilled over saving $1 on tampons? Or are they just desperately bored women?

So, yeah theory on why Target is a good pick up spot for older men looking for older chicks, well if you don't mind being blown off later, as real life.

Two possible reactions to this; to laugh it off - or to feel very, very sad.

I had to quit working at Target for my 2nd job because my clearance habit was costing more than I was earning there. 😂 I was buying things just because they were a good deal. 🤦‍♀️

I personally think the correct answer is both. But I guess really, it depends on how you answer a couple questions. Do you believe their is a Target bored moms club of banter and yoga pants and pumpkin spice? Do you believe in those clubs there are woman really excited by a discount on salad dressing? if not, then clearly laugh as it is a joke, because the women I speak of don't exist. If you believe they exist though, do you believe someone could truly be that deeply excited about saving $1 on salad dressing? If no, well it is possible my Target theory might hold, as such some sad is still ok. But so is laughing, because damn it, I am funny.

Well that is just rude. Using your in to deprive poor excitement starved women something they didn't even need just for something exciting to do. Quitting was the right thing to do.

Even if there wasn't a club, there are those for whom life is so consumeristic. And that's the sad point.

I didn't do it for them. I did it for my bank account. 😂
