Why aren’t any of the Republicans who have been chased out of office by the MAGA mob talking about starting a new party ? Call it the Real Republican Party or something like that. It’s the only way they are going to reclaim the party from the crazies. Just a thought

How do you reclaim a party by starting a new party? Wouldn't that just be abandoning the party?

Maybe because there aren't enough of them who oppose Trump to start a new party.

Part of it is a shift across the whole spectrum.

What used to be considered “extremism” in the USA have become middle American values.

Pro-abortion Democrats think it’s acceptable to stalk and threaten Supreme Court Justices.

Republicans think school massacres are just table stakes in the right to open-carry military grade weapons in public.

American men want to wear dresses , call themselves girls and compete against real girls in athletics.

But not all, and only a small fraction.

We have plenty of spare parties lying around, but most of the corporate gravy is now on the Dem train. The Libertarian and Constitution parties would be glad to take all principled objectors if they bring their wallets.

I believe it's a generational shift. Millenials grew up in Traditional Conservative/Liberal homes, was exposed to a more extreme progressive propaganda push in hollywood and social media, which has blended a moderate conservative/liberal or an extreme leftist, depending on how much the home shifted with the times or how much that child bought into the propaganda.

Elaborate where I'm wrong or in your words and imbecile.
Well TBH I have no idea of your mental wherewithal, but when I read a post, which consists of two sentences, one of which is a run on.
Not to mention that, that same sentence also contains numerous grammatical errors. While being filled with unsubstantiated claims beliefs about a whole demographic.

Given the above, it could well be you're an imbecile, even if you don't think that way about yourself.

So to not be an imbecile, you have to have perfect grammar in your writing? I didn't say this was fact, I said "I believe" but if you're wanting a perfectly thought out and editorialized opinion, you might refrain from using message boards.

I think the Trump era will pass and the Republican Party will reestablish. It will take much longer than it would have taken if they'd used their brains rather than their prejudices, shortsightedness, and personal greed, though.

I re-read your word salad pastiche three times trying to ascertain what you "believe" and didn't have much luck. At best, you sound like one of those "git off my lawn" boomers....at worst, one wonders if you spent too much time stuck in mama's hooha at birth without teh benefit of oxygen. Perhaps both. Try harder next time.

Ha!!! Nothing you said related to what my post says. What is it you're having a hard time grasping? Maybe you're the illiterate one here.

Note, I never said you were an imbecile. What I pointed out to you about your post, was, a reasonable person could read it, and come to that conclusion. You are correct, this is a type of message board, and the manner we communicate in, is in writing. Not in speech. So if you don't wish to be considered an imbecile, weight your words, and write in a clear concise, and grammatically correct manner.

Though even using proper grammar and punctuation is no guard against being called names. So since you offered advice to me about this site, I return the favour. If you post on the PB, you will be insulted, get used to it.

Ok, it may be a bit clustered or a run on sentence. I still don't know why nobody will approach the point of the post, rather than being hung up on the way it's written.

perhaps q should think about starting one up after trailing way behind the other 6 Arizona gop candidates to come in a poor, belated 7th?
