Are they gonna publish anything?

I submitted a drawing on the "main side," or whatever it's called. It's been probably a month and still hasn't been published.

Anybody else?

If they don't have the resources for a site of this size to function then they either need to hire people or shrink the site right down to something more manageable.

So, new artworks were published today. I guess creators of artworks will have to adopt what those of illustrated stories and poems already know, that you'll have to take spans of 6-8 weeks into account between active publishing periods.

But I think the best news here is that artworks on Lit are still alive.

Happy drawing!

You say happy "drawing" but I've just taken a look at the newly published stuff and its all that Daz3d type stuff, which isn't my cup of tea at all.

I know of at least two - including MacSlither's - hand drawn ones that are waiting in the pipeline...Hopefully your favorited kind of 'cups'.

Mine took about 6 weeks. They seemed to finally get published after sending an email to the administrator, but maybe that’s just coincidence as it was the same time a whole bunch of art was posted. I have a bunch more, but I’m thinking to just dump them in this forum. Generally, the feedback is better and no frustrating delays.

Again this is happening.

So I've submitted like 7 pieces to the main site (erotic comics) since January. Not a one has been pushed thru.

It usually takes a week or so, but has been getting longer and longer. Is it a waste of time to publish stuff over there?

Have you tried reaching out to some of the forum mods to see what they need to streamline it?

Maybe

It comes down to guesswork really. Maybe someone connected with the site management bears a grudge for some reason or a complaint's been made about you..?

I've sent a few emails to the support but haven't gotten a reply.

And I don't think they've really published much of anything since then, so I don't think it's a grudge. Whatever. I'll just stop submitting stuff over there.

I don't know if it's just me but images in the illustrated section of the main site don't even load up to be viewed at the moment.

Use Private messages to Laurel (username Laurel, literally) when seeking admin intervention. Emails don’t reach them.

Tried my luck several times. Maybe there are so many PMs coming in, that one gets overlooked...but with absolutely nothing being published, I guess the categories are officially dead now.

You still might take the chance to vote for the first time ever - and possibly last time - in Lit's Readers Choice Awards for Erotic Art and Adult Comics.
Maybe you'd like to pay one last tribute to Illustrated Poetry too?

Oh shit. One of mine is one of the options.
I mean, if yall wanted to vote for mine that would be cool.

Did you even know this was going on? I didn't.
I sometimes wonder if you guys live on a different planet  Where people are really skilled with their graphic powers, and do nothing else but draw, and never read the forum :sneaky:

Good luck for everyone nominated!

I browse and read what catches my eye, which is how I found out — reading YOUR post, here.
How did YOU find out? As far as I can see, it's under a post labeled 2021— so this is an annual award for the whole of last year? I do not see the thread that was soliciting nominations or any announcement that these were new categories.
