I usually never had to wait long for a ride that's for sure. I did however get picked up by some real pervs sometimes though.

My favorite was getting picked up by a trucker. Some of those trucks are so comfy inside! It was a real commitment for them to stop though. I had to be smart and catch them on on-ramps or at rest stops because I learned the hard way they usually won't stop when they're rolling on the highway. Plus if they did, you had to walk like a mile to get to them which was a real drag!

I'm sorry to read you were picked up by pervs sometimes. I can't say that's happened to me, but then I'm not a gorgeous Woman... Although I tell you what LizVegas79... Those truckers were damn lucky that day...;)
