Jokes about consent are not funny. Ever. Consent is too often seen as a gray area and it’s not at all. I never said jokes violate the rules here; I said they aren’t funny. I am more than capable of matching your anecdata story for story, but how about instead of that you actually stay done with the argument. We disagree. It’s that simple. As a survivor of sexual assault and the parent of daughters who are survivors of sexual assault, I don’t wish to hear or read jokes about consent. Unfortunately, I am not able to use the ignore feature here so I will scroll by. It doesn’t take me multiple posts saying I’m finished with an argument to actually stop.
