Ok, so sorry to post back-to-back-to-back in this thread, but I thought this one deserved its own post.

A few weeks ago, I found a note on my window sill with a phone number and a "Call me, I need to talk to you." I was curious (and honestly afraid it was from some of my neighbors, wanting to complain about overhearing my work calls), so I contacted the number. Never did hear anything from it, so I kinda just forgot about it.

I woke up today to this woman having an absolute MELTDOWN on my phone. I live in a small apartment complex with 12 apartments in it, including mine. Apparently, this woman had found this address in her boyfriend's phone and it had *gasp* stayed overnight here. Why she decided it was with ME he stayed, when there are 11 other apartments in this complex, I don't know, but she did.

She wouldn't refer to the guy in question by his name, but she did say he drives a little red car. I know absolutely no one with a little red car, and I told her straight up that I had no idea who or what she was talking about. But this woman was flipping out, and from what she said, this was not the first time he'd cheated on her, so my question was, why in the world did you stay with him, then?

But I didn't say that because I didn't want to prolong the conversation. I only answered to get her to shut up, anyway. But what she didn't realize, I guess, was just because *I* don't know who he is doesn't mean that he's not hooking up with someone else in this complex, but I didn't bother pointing that out, either.

So, yeah, y'all, I have acquired a weird stalker who thinks I'm nailing her boyfriend. Of all the horrible things in the world I've done, it's funny that THIS TIME, I'm totally innocent.

I found a tick well and truly feeding on my boob when I woke up this morning. It must have been stuck on my shirt even though I gave it a good shake when I got home, because no ticks were found in tick check and I even had a shower. But I did put on the same, shaken, shirt shortly before going to bed for a while when I took out the trash.

So gross. J says it’s understandable that ticks can’t resist my boobs because they’re delish. Still, so very gross.

I’ve learned that now.

Ticks are a fairly recent phenomenon here, so I keep forgetting to do the tick check. It’s absolutely laughable that the one time I do actually remember to do it, I still end up with a stray tick feeding on my boob.

Of course now I think, all those bazillion times I haven’t done a tick check, maybe I’ve just been feeding ground for a horde of ticks and never knew.

Now I keep running through all the stupid things I’ve said in past and holy shit. I’ll really have to shape up and act smart when I run into him the next time. No more random art reviews and fake karaoke.
