Swannie's Random Stuff

Your Cormorants as a different colour than the ones we have in North America which are all black. As invasive species here though.

Ok a few minutes to spare.

Blogging stands with their own light and microphone aren't bad mounts to make fun pics with. The light makes it interesting. I had to do some more experimenting with the breakfast stand. Jeans on, Jeans off. Actually it was the other way around. The off one was straight out of bed and looking for a coffee. The jeans came on later..

Some more lace down the shirt. I actually had lace on today and not hanging free.

Disappeared offshore for a day to enjoy the sunshine last week. Winter is creeping up this year and we are getting plenty of rainy days in between nice ones. The day before we had some of the largest chicken parmigianas I have had this side of the Melbourne guy at the Hokkaido skifields at Niseko. Couldn't quite finish but that took care of dinner as well, plus breakfast the next day was a bit light. It was nice being offshore. It was election day on Saturday for the federal parliament so the airwaves were getting a bit desperate on one side of the spectrum.

Friday we saw a pantomime at the university then were fortunate enough to be strolling alongside the river when the moon was coming up. It is quite something when the moon does the stairway effect on the water, at least in my book. When the bloke (finally) proposed it was on a tropical island in Asia, on a moon lit beach in a national park with a couple of wild elephants wandering up the beach. I have been attracted to moonrises ever since.

Saturday was election day. Voted early (compulsory voting here) and then had coffee down by the river. A shag (a Cormorant) decided he was going to be friendly if we were so there was company. Too nice a day to not, the beach beckoned and managed to catch a few more rays and salt water. A fellow walked past, and while I am used to all sorts of sizes and shapes in view, he was a bit like the Shag. That would have been a lot of blood pressure required to get that one moving.

Anyway the sun set on a new era. The conservative side of politics sent packing and Labor plus independents got in. Stale, negativity, military, religious right appealing made way for a return to the sensible centre again. Climate change and a fair go for all won the day. You can't stray too far from the centre in a compulsory voting system. Go too far left or right and there is a pull back to the middle. Credit to the labor side, they offered no crazy policies, matched anything put forward, said climate mattered, and basically positioned on "we are not them" and the people judged that to be the case. No crazies rants or insurrections, just a gracious concession and a victory speech. PM sworn in the next day and then on the next he was on the plane to Tokyo for the Quad meeting. Just like that. It's not bad being in a sensible place.

Rain has finally stopped. After a day and half I finally managed to escort out the little rat the cat had driven into the house. Useless mouser she is. The rat was probably old enough to not be worried by the little python in the back hedges but no sense of fear of humans or anything else. I came out of the bathroom and this thing was casually strolling down the hallway while the cat was peering under sofas. It's a good life. There is enough fruit left on the trees to look after the birds and other critters as winter approaches.

Have fun people.
Ahh, Miss again to enjoy the bits of your country, life, views, and backside. You make the start to this unusual cool day on our coast better. Gave me a smile as I push the final 24 hours prior to surgery tomorrow, getting a new valve which I am told will make me feel 1000% better. I take one more long look at these layer today. Thank you.

A varied few days for you. I like the framing of the stool. Looks good on and off.

I saw the word ‘shag’ and first though was you were going to tell us about a knee tremble alongside the river. I had no idea you called a cormorant, a shag.
I grew up not knowing a shag was a cormorant. We also call darters Shags as well, so who knows. The first time I heard shag mentioned out of bird context as a kid it took me a while to work out what they were referring to.
You're such a tease, a love it. :):)
Indeed, the spice of life.
I like your succinct summary of a day in Australian life, and the icing on the cake is your accompanying photos, your seated photo makes jeans a sexy as well as sensible item of clothing, I note that the spread leg clothed post was not repeated in the nude bum shot, I am sure that wasn't a result of modesty.
There is a limit to how many photos you can put in a single post and their size. I chose one naked on the seat photo out of all of them.
Nice that you approve of the change in government, they will not be short of challenges, interesting that Labour is considered centralist in your county.
Traditionally not, but they have learnt the hard way that if they deviate past centre left they get ousted. The now previous Liberal govt went centre right to further right and out the door they go. They all have to learn their lessons.
Love the pics and the full "moon"
The Moon in May

Cormorants and darters all get grouped into one. Quite fun at the beach when they swim around you chasing small fish in the waves.

Pop a new valve in and get that pressure and rhythm right again. We will have to test that pressure on another post.

I'll have to remember the blogging stand and light, I don't have one but it sound's worth experimenting with.

I enjoyed the scenic panoramas and really loved the shots of you in jeans and nude. You photograph well and have an outstanding figure.

We fish a lot on a great lake in Northwestern Ontario, in summer we get Cormorants, Eagles and Pelicans in good numbers, we often see the pelicans and cormorants working together on bait fish. Cool to watch

Thank you, I try to keep everything in good order. Just takes a bit more work than it used to...

The blogging stand was about $20 or so from a Kmart. I have an extendabke stick with a bluetooth trigger built in and another tripod with a remote from the same all about the same price range. If I lose one in travels then who cares but they do the job. The light source on this one is a new plaything.

Lovely, I enjoy all the bird life. The big Eagles, the Wedgetails, are further inland, but we have Ospreys all through the city rivers and beaches.

Emu's too? ;)
Emu's are around the place, more in population in the midwest of the state, but certainly outside of cities and traffic hazards. Small towns and they just wander through peoples gardens and streets.
Now, Bin Chickens are the one not mentioned. They are possibly going to be one of the mascots of the Brisbane Olympics. Awesome survivalists.

Emu is delicious, too.

Shag in the UK also refers to a type of tobacco, usually loose tobacco in a pouch. We could go into a tobacconists (specialised shop) and ask for an ounce of shag and they would weigh it out from a large container into a pouch or tin that we provided.

more recently it is supplied in sealed pouches, commercially packaged.

I've missed this thread! Apparently all down to the fact that the new system means you have to actually request email notification of updates even if you're watching a thread - thought I'd ticked that box but no ...

Loved the quick catch up I just did though - pics of baby possums, penthouse offices with pool tables and hot tubs, signposts to the rest of the world, sweeping vistas of cities I'm probably never going to visit and of course, the tantalising glimpses of a particularly beautiful female body that I'm also never going to visit! Lucky Mr Swannie (No, I'm not jealous that he gets to enjoy your charms on a regular basis) to have such a beautiful, talented, clever and obviously charming woman in his life.

How do you feel about compulsory voting? Do you think that it actually makes the voters become more informed, or does it just make voters mark a random name and go on with their lives?

Pt3/3
I had a few hours to kill and it was such a nice sunny day that I went over to the north shore and along to Obelisk beach, an inner harbour clothing optional stretch of sand. I had picked up a gorgeous sun dress the day before at boutique where the suite is. A really wrap around affair with ties that you can go this way and that with it.

When I got there, the navy guys were doing beginner diving training (its federal land) which I though might get interesting under the water. Noone really paid them much mind so hopped in the water on the side of the beach with all the ladies. I did notice a few of them wandering about, clearly having a look, but hey, good on them, thank you for your service.

Afterwards I couldn't be bothered putting on knickers so got a bit cheeky up near the coffee van and teasing the bloke for not coming to the beach with me. It is a really split and easy dress to quick flash in. Only problem is that if you don't tie the front up well you can easily fall out of that. It is a double sided tape type dress. I had to catch them. I had been under the radar on the other ones but the coffee guy copped an eyeful of boobs. Given the beach I am sure he gets naked coffee buyers so doubt he would even react. I think he was more interested in the fellows coming up the stairs anyway...

Other than lunches nothing of any note in Brisbane, other than I swear people are bustier there than Sydney by a magnitude. Must feed them well.

Back on my side of the country again. Slacked off this afternoon and went down the beach for a bit of sun. A gorgeous snake came out of the dunes and across the beach for a bit of an up snorkle-swim. He was really pretty in the sun. Of course, he would drop you in 30 mins if he latched on, but cute from a bit away.

Enjoy your week.
Wonderful photos and I am very appreciative of your wonderful skin colour. You have been kissed by the sun gently... and have a wonderful glow.

Great poses as always also.

I like the one showing your rear holding up your garment the best. It reminds me of that old school tennis classic poster from my youth... a huge seller.

Looking lovely. As always.

We have the reputation of eating our two animal symbols on the coat of arms. Not many do though, just tourists.

I had read this a few years ago, I think it might have been part of a novel.

I put a bit of this and that into it as a touch of interest. Obviously I get to do that as a time lapse over the period between posts. You night be in for a surprise soon on this current trip.

I think it makes people more informed but puts the extemes in their place, right or left, as they can't get elected on the fringes without broad appeal.
Note that our system also has proportional voting, so you must number your paper 1 to however many. My area had 11 in the last election. Votes get redistributed until there is two candidates standing. It means your second and third preferences are equally important in order to your first.

I throw things in as a fun game. You might need a lookup service to get on top of some things but what fun would it be if I just used Queens English and didn't resort to a casual spoken form.

I am always inspired to try things from classic past. Some things are possible, others just don't work out at all.
The framing of the stool does it for me…I just love the way (both clothed and naked) your ass sits there - distinctly beautiful. (Although, I feel, to lower the tone, straddling the chair and framing something else would be sensationally hot - and maybe rather popular with your followers too!)
Thanks for sharing your aspects your life.
I carefully chose which ones I used. The majority I pop right open. I don't doubt a few would be interested at that angle.

I do so love all your varied photos.

Friday we saw a pantomime at the university

A little surprised you have a tradition of pantomimes, our two countries have so much in common.

From another one of your comments elsewhere is your current travels involving llama's? What on earth are you doing there? Are we going to see something sexy from there. That might be a first for LIT.

I would LOVE to see the whole picture!!!
Just saying
You never know when the whole picture gets put up. It really depends on my mood when I am posting to tell the truth.

Yes, although I am not yet entirely at ease with the heckling. Apart for the Christmas ones, you don't see too many outside of university performances.

Busted. Yes on a work trip in Argentina, up in the Andes. Still here for a bit longer.

As above, I am in Argentina looking at stuff way beyond the vegetation zone. 12000' and above actually, so very dry and technically a desert. No llamas, alpacas around here, but they are a few thousand feet below. Thanking Mr Musk for his starlink satellite service.

It's not going to be much of a sexy post. Most days it is drop the thermals for a towel down and put them up again. It's not wise to drink or use the water here at camp due to the high natural arsenic content. So you get an undies post from before I left for the airport and and quick change at LAX within the quick change to Miami. Nothing really sexy during my stop in Buenos Aires and the acclimatisation slow drive up north and up and up and up, so just lots of scenery photos.

Just for interest, the white around the test trenches is salt, but volcanic mineral salt, not evaporated sea water. It is very high in lithium and other concentrates.

Otherwise, the local diet of meat meat and a side of cheese and meat is half killing me, and without a shower in a week the long drop trench no longer assaults my nose, so you wouldn't want me around until after a shower when I head back down again later on the weekend. Skies are clear so night time is the Milky Way and all the nubulae in vibrant colour.

Fantastic pictures all, regardless of the circumstances or rushed pictures you're always a very desirable and visually enticing woman.
The desert-type area pictures from your location are top-notch, even though the water restraints are clearly a problem for you. Carrying a goodly supply of some type of wet wipe body cleaning towelettes is a good practice which I've no doubt you take advantage of. Still, even with the towelettes, nothing beats a nice improvised shower when you're out camping away from running water and electricity.
