Puzzle me this... Why doesn't "Just One Line" appear in the forum index?

I had to use the search feature to find the "Just One Line" thread. I posted a new entry, and it's still not there. Did I do something that makes it invisible to me, or has somebody or something made it invisible?

It's Lit. Stuff breaks more often than Grandma's hip joint at a mosh pit.

FWIW, I've found your post and the thread. Gimme a sec.

It's there. I posted in it about an hour ago, but I've checked and it still is.

Sometimes it falls off the front page of threads.

It’ll be because you have the initial poster, in this case Lovecraft, on ignore.
I think that a work around would be to get into the thread via your forum posts and then selecting to watch the thread but I’m not sure.

I think you have to reload the page after you make a post, or it might not change the position of the thread.

That's it. Strange the way that feature works. I have lots of experience as a user and admin of this forum package, and was surprised. Must be an options setting I'm not familiar with.

Thanks!

Which means this thread was designed just so I, or other people, know you're ignoring me.
The poster who pointed out the answer you already knew has been here since 2017, no bio, no stories, no favorites.
Asking a question you already know the answer to, which is then answered by a handle that's been here five years, but is a blank slate, is a pretty common M.O.

This is what years on the GB teaches people.

Cheers, as you read this reply even though I'm being ignored.

Yep, Ignore in this new forum software makes the person disappear completely - although you can click to see what they've said if someone else quotes them (unlike the previous version, where you saw any requote).

Wha? 'Scuse me? It was a genuine inquiry. I had no idea. Of course, you know why I ignored you to begin with. You pick fights. Constantly. With everybody. I was tired of the bad vibes in what is otherwise a pretty quiet and friendly corner of the greater LitE forum. You had to go, at least in my view of the world. Good to know that it works the way it does in the updated software. <click>, <click> Ahhh.
