Yeah, gotta watch out for the fat ones, they are usually full of babies ready to spread out on a moments notice.

Now I have used the supersonic cockroach plugin and they drive them crazy and they leave. The problem is that the sonics do not penetrate solid objects so there are shadows they can hide in. I would assume the spider one does the same. So for each room you might need three, and then they all just might hide under your bed where they would eat each other until there is only one big one left.
