the birds are waking me and the cats up at 4am and then the little cat has been feeling playful and pulling her toys out of the basket and into the bed around 5am and she'll entertain herself for as long as it takes to know that i'm awake and then i'll move to the couch until it's 6 or so and then it's time to shower and make coffee and get the day started and it's a week day routine that is familiar and nice and each day the moon rises later and the sun comes out earlier and if the temperature would just stay cool things would be pretty perfect

haha, I always get woken up by the cats either just staring at me or sticking their cold noses on my face........our temps have been really up and down lately as well, it does help to see you in your undies! :devil::heart::kiss:

I never thought I'd be a cat person but they've grown on me.
 
the heaviness of soaked clothes from standing in the rain felt nice yesterday while waiting for the bus to arrive all of which matched my mood and the book i was reading on the train made me cry and sometimes it feels okay to cry quietly while surrounded by strangers and sometimes i prefer the comfort of not knowing anyone and sometimes sobs of sadness are needed and wet eyes feel good because other times we have to remain strong and put on that brave face sometimes for love and sometimes for other things

the subtle nods of pedestrians passing under street lights while the sun is setting and cyclists in the auto lanes weaving in and out of traffic near the lot of idling taxi cabs and cigarettes under the winking stars and drivers dancing silently as they pass by with their windows and stereos turned up
 
It's been a sad week but there is always something about certain sounds that put me in a melancholy mood when I'm on the bus and train and that remind me that blue skies and better days are around the corner. I'll be here and there for a while
