I've had this idea for a while now but: 1, I havent written any kind of narrative since high school and 2, it wouldn't take way more effort than I'm willing to put in. I'm handing this idea out for free to those who can write.

It'd be a story about the TITular character who lives in a generic medieval, magical fantasy world. The unique thing being it would take place only in the tavern she works at. I like the idea of a lovely, well endowed, hard working barmaid going about her daily life. Pouring drinks, mopping floors, typical bartender shit just replace surly drunks with "shitfaced wizards turning people into animals" or "faeries setting fires". Occasionally she passes her off hours by sleeping with human heroes, elves, werewolves, maybe even dragons etc who are passing through on their grand quests to save the world or whatever bullshit.

I like the kind of niche stories of this style that take familiar plots and center them around an unusual character for a different perspective. I imagine a series of short snippets would be best for this. It could really come together with the way details about her partners are layed out, and how they came to be balls...or fingers...or tentacles deep into the bargirl.

Does this sound like a cool idea or am I boring everyone dry?

It sounds like a great world to spin off multiple stories about. Lots of characters coming and going, maybe not all involving the barmaid. Sort of like "Cheers" meets Tolkien.

Good idea...why not make her bisexual as well? Have her do it with enchantresses, witches, maids etc....

I would propose this as an open theme, so different authors could write stories about the girl and her fantastic adventures with unheard of creatures. I would love to write one or two, but the topic demands more than that, I think.

Bubbles is my bardic catgirl from a fantasy world, and one of my favourite characters to write. For the most part, nothing really big happens in her life.

So I'm probably of the opinion we could do with a lot more stories like the one you're suggesting. You can take it through a bunch of fun, and strange places.

Is there a section where I can just drop an open theme? Alternatively, you can do it! I'm not the best at playing out a plot as you can see Lol

Just a few things I've got on my list but haven't come close to addressing yet, which might be fun for another fantasy-world author to play with:

  • The circus. Particularly, sneaking into the circus so you get the opportunity to describe all the outlandish things in the same place at the same time. Maybe even a romp between the cages. Or a jailbreak.
  • The linker profession. Long dead now, but it used to be someone's job to go around carrying a torch for groups of people at night. Being the linker for a DnD-style group on a pub crawl could be all kinds of fun.
  • The opera. Opera houses invite all kinds of fun, even before you introduce a world with real vampires, ghosts, and other supernatural entities. Who may feel insulted to be assumed to be haunting.
  • Catgirl on a boat. Cats have been known to freakout on water transport. Cats who can talk and toss spells, that freak out on water transport sounds like fun.
  • The welcimi profession. Basically, your average mealtime dancer, for your expensive lords and ladies. Except, unlike the modern equivalent of a poledancer, we didn't pretend you weren't allowed to touch - touching and fucking were all out in the open and jealous partners just had to grin and bear it. Ever negotiated a border treaty with an orc whilst an elf gives you head and your wife pretends not to want to stab them?
