Now that the Ruble is worth less than a penny and the Russian economy is crashing all around him. Not to mention the mile-long line of Russians trying to get their last Big Mac before McDonald's closed last night.:D

The question is at what point will Putin deem all of this an act of war and order someone nuked?

He has to know that with a normal American President to do so would be national suicide, but with Biden I think he'd surrender before retaliating.

Maybe we can put The Button on Brandon's First Alert pendant around his neck.

So far as I've heard, there is no real popular opposition movement against Putin -- he has suppressed all that too effectively. The only thing that can take him out is a coup engineered by generals and/or oligarchs.

It's actually (bizarre as this sounds) unclear as to how unhappy the Russian populace is. Worse teh Army may well be onboard with this. I will try to find the references where I got this.

The Russian people are who he has to fear.

On the subject of the generals, it's obvious from the performance of the army in this invasion that an awful lot of money that was supposed to be spent on military toys got funneled into the accounts of Putin and his cronies instead. I suppose we knew this was going on, but it's when an army has to fight that these shortcoming really get noticed. This cannot make the more professional leaders in the Russian military very happy.

He will last a while....he is in guard already. Doesn't sit near anyone anymore. He has control of the military....it will take a military coup.

That has been attempted before....and it failed.

I'm hoping he doesn't last....and little fucked Napoleon's tend to. 45 is a great example as well.

Most russian people have no clue what's actually happening in Ukraine. He will last as long as he can keep the wool over their eyes.

From what I’ve read, if he were pushed out from the inside, each of his likely successors would be more dangerous than him.

I like Pussy Riot & Navalny.

I wonder if he getting the true picture. Read somewhere that the inner circle would rather take him out than give him bad news.

He looks like about two pumps and a squirt to me.

We’re talking about in bed, right? 😉

He seems to have been a very healthy old man, until his vax. Many sites have noted his recently puffy face and neck.
