The running heat tends to dehydrate them.

Same for the fish tank. It's a couple of inches low.

I kill indoor plants but do well with outdoor plants. Who can figure!!

I prefer houseplants to the garden. It's just become too much work for too little reward.
I end up composting as much as I eat and it is just a magnet for forest critters.
I just don't raise anything inside for food (or recreation any more).
I wasted a lot of time on a magic herb garden and
barely used any of the herbs.

I'll try again when they grow garlic salt and pepper.
I still have philodendrons and a Norfolk Island Pine.
You know, the plants that can take a little neglect.
Oh, and this tropical thing sitting next to me.
I can't even remember it's name.
I'll call it Fred...
