What’s your most controversial opinion?

“It turns out that when transgender girls play on girls’ sports teams, cisgender girls can win. In fact, the vast majority of female athletes are cisgender, as are the vast majority of winners. There is no epidemic of transgender girls dominating female sports. Attempts to force transgender girls to play on the boys’ teams are unconscionable attacks on already marginalized transgender children, and they don’t address a real problem. They’re unscientific, and they would cause serious mental health damage to both cisgender and transgender youth.”

But I'm sure you'll come up with a way to say "Well, if they didn't dress up like women"...
The pathetic thing here is that you KNOW you are ignorant, but won't shut up and stop showing how ignorant you are.
Yep. Okay.

Thank you for your due diligence in providing information I had wondered about.

I didn't think this was controversial but apparently so...

Unlike facts, opinions need not be verified. They may be supported by evidence (and are usually better if they do), but don't need to be.
Anyone can have any opinion about anything because it doesn't need to be based in substantiated reality.

Chocolate is better than strawberry is an opinion.
Transwomen are dominating women's sports is an opinion that can be tested. You may still have that opinion at the end of the day, but at least your misinformation has been cut off from spreading.
That's fair - but this isn't the "educated opinion" thread and I don't think anyone here is spreading dangerous information (or the Mods would have stepped in).
Tossing around words like bigot and assumptions made about what "you know" or should know doesn't seem necessary in an open platform for sharing... opinions.

A man....ranked 148th in the World....decided to become a female. Now, "she" is ranked number 1. There is no misinformation there.

Yeah, you might want to look over the past couple days. Or don't. I don't care. I'm going to call out transphobic bullshit.
I get it.

But something about the practice of doing so doesn't sit well with me. Seems too akin to racial profiling

Not to conflate the two.

This thread needs to be deleted, all it's doing is bringing out negative energy. No one here, is actually hear to talk, only here to point fingers and say.
