Former President Violated Multiple Laws - Says Jan 6 Committee

Poor Timmeh is running out of ways to squeal "Unqualified Negress!"
*ahem*

A small correction to your obvious bid to get attention...

I said "Nomi-nigger" because that's a term I saw which totally fits the current situation.

The fact that it's obvious that the only selection qualification for the job is her gender and her skin color merely shows that those who selected, and support her nomination are the ones who are racists. Even in the face of others using the "N word" to merely point out that brand of hypocrisy, the racist mindset of those who continue to endorse the nomination stays the same. It is not me who is the racist because I argue against her qualifications based on her proven track record, it's you and those like you who support her nomination based on her skin color and gender who is the actual racist here.

You still insist on being ignorant.

KBJ didn't just get her decisions overturned, the appeals court also told her specifically, by name, that she not only was ignoring the law, and the existing precedent regarding that law, that she was "legislating from the bench." Those were the words used by the appeals court in their decision when they overturned her.

That isn't an "interpretation" of the law. It's anathema, anarchy, and counter to the purpose of a judge.
Yes, the appeals court overturned her ruling. You don't feel she's qualified. Lobby your Senator.

One specific appeal ruling doesn't change my perspective nor does it negate any other ruling she's had...sorry.

*ahem*
nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger nigger . PS YOU are the racist here.
If you say so.

You're a very stupid racist, RAPEY.

So two degrees from Harvard and more judicial experience than Chief Justice Roberts had when he was nominated don't count, huh?

That's a qualification. It's not the only selection qualification.

Trump decided his qualification was a woman...it was also not her only qualification. Nor was conservatism nor was pro-life.

But liberals didn't whine about that one qualification. Pro-choice people didn't whine about that one qualification.

The "committee" is still a farce. A joke. A kangaroo court. They should take a hint from the NY prosecutors and quietly shut'er down and leave town.

They'll release their report before June and I assume they make referrals to the AG. Garland's actions from there truly will be the thing to watch, along with reactions.

I'm truly surprised that there isn't more backlash being delivered to Eastman.

Now that the NY AG and Manhattan investigations have unraveled, Garland is the resist movement’s last hope.

The NY investigation is ongoing. They have yet to build the case that Trump knew what he was doing.
Claiming that NY shows Trump’s innocence comes with acknowledging that Trump was a lousy businessman and pretty dim upstairs.

The NY efforts aren't dead yet, officially.

My desire is for the Jan 6 report to be released and to be comprehensive by this spring. As with the Senate committee report on Russia, I fully expect everyone on the right to ignore it or focus on a single position to describe it.

They can do anything they want, they're still an insult to any sense of justice.

The NY efforts are not dead officially, but its pretty clear it’s dead. The 1/6 report will no doubt excite the left, but unless Merrick Garland swiftly signals a clear intent to press charges against Trump for a serious crime, it will largely be ignored by the public and forgotten in a matter of days.

The key prosecutors who were chasing that rainbow have resigned because the new DA made it clear he doesn’t think there is a case to be made. As reported by the NYT and Washington Examiner, the investigation has unraveled.

You consistently do premature victory laps...it's your thing I guess.

The report will have a lot more to it than I think you believe, but that's my opinion.

Nah. Manchin and Sinema made it clear last year that BBB was dead. I was just celebrating the obvious. Just took a while for it to sink in on the left. The NYT report on the NY AG and Manhattan investigations features named sources and verified facts so I don’t think I’m being premature on that one. Its fair to say my prediction on the 1/6 outcome is yet to play out, but given what we know so far and given the calendar, the chances of criminal charges against the former president look very remote to me.

You were doing victory laps in February.

The investigation continues.

NEW YORK, Feb 25 (Reuters) - A new prosecutor has been chosen to lead a criminal probe into former U.S. President Donald Trump, the Manhattan district attorney's office said on Friday, after the departures of two top lawyers threw the investigation's future into question.

Susan Hoffinger will now lead the probe into Trump and the practices of his family business, the Trump Organization, according to Danielle Filson, a spokeswoman for Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney.

I’m sure a year ago I was posting that Trump was not in jail after years of resisters fantasizing that his imprisonment was imminent. I still make posts pointing that out.

Also pretty sure I posted about the significance of Vance’s decision last year to not seek re-election. I believed then and still believe he saw where the investigation was headed. The latest news supports it. Now the Manhattan DA has appointed a new person to lead the investigation and if that gives resisters hope, so be it. It doesn’t change the fact that the 2 prosecutors she replaces quit because Bragg made his feelings about the lack of evidence clear. And the NYT reported that other career prosecutors also felt there was no case. It’s over.

And for sure I took a victory lap last year over Trump’s second acquittal. ✌️

I've never said Trump will get jail time, but nice deflection

Most of your victory laps happen prematurely. You're lucky if you get them right, but there's never enough information to do so. If you feel prophetic, then maybe you should play the lottery. Most of the time you're posting what you want to happen rather than providing intelligent analysis of what will happen.
