Movies on TV / Where did they go?

As a DirecTV subscriber after the Mee Too bullshit, I noticed that all the movie channels have scrubbed their venues for sexy movie themes that contain nudity.

So my question is for those who have cut the cord where did all the movies go at an affordable rate?

I ask as on DTV I have long enjoyed [24 years] the ability to browse info on a movie and review all the movies an actor was in. In doing this now on DTV all the movies an actress was in that were sexy and contained nudity are only available on DTV Cinema for 11.99$ and up.

What other venues have the guide and search via the remote on the TV without having to browse the internet for information? Which if you do not subcribe to imdb is mostly advertisement.

Is there any place that gives access to movies that can be "DVR"d as opposed to streamed? I must admit I enjoy the quality experience of DTV and expect nothing less including the ability to pause rewind and fast forward at will. Which is required when trying to watch sports news or anything else on channels that have commercials. DVR and fast forward is a requirement. 24 years without commercials I am spoiled and do not wish to give that up.

While this sounds a lot like an ad for DTV, it is not. It is a question looking for where did the ability to have everything in one place go? I want an affordable way to continue enjoying home entertainment. If the TV is on it is not on a laptop or computer monitor. It is on 75" of clarity and backed up with a sound system that can fill the room as need at high levels of Db or low.

Either way I have been looking up by actor or director and find all the movies I have not seen over the years are behind a pay wall. It did not used to be that way until the media like USA today started writing articles about people cutting the cord. Like it was cheaper or something. So far all I can find if I were to cut the cord is multiple ways to pay more to watch the same thing I have now with far less features.

Wasn't sure where to post, General, How To, or Politics. Kind of fits all three.

While Luk does have a good suggestion it does not solve the problem.
The guide is incomplete. And the channels on cable that are not local or pay movie channels are not included.
Ripping movies from PBay is a lot of work too. Plus it isn't really on the up and up.
What I am looking for is to be able to have the TV on something with quality sound and picture with no pay per-view, all the channel choices and the ability to DVR streamable media to avoid having to modulate the volume level for commercials.
Not including the new EPIX channel and AMC+ created as SONY further locked down their movies and Bezos bought and hid MGM behind a paywall have I been able to find a complete solution.
It is like "hollywood" has made it difficult to watch movies because no one wants to go to a theater, new movies are so woke they do not represent current culture or they are sold as documentary/based on true story and badly re-write history.
While the incomplete dtv deal is 3144 per year, the time it takes to find something to watch is seconds as opposed to hours. All the other providers are filtered like AOL was when the internet was new.
Having enjoyed unlimited tv for so long I am shocked it is gone. Disappointed.

indeed.

find the canadian adverts fascinating, they have an obsession with food. Australian sports channels are just strange, the world of iptv and VPN is a journey.

This is a very important problem, and I think it needs to be addressed and discussed with other people so that many people can come together to break through this wall of television and solve this problem. Every year movies are becoming more and more inaccessible to the average person, all because of the growing popularity in our world of various streaming platforms where you have to buy a subscription to watch movies and shows. My cousin can't help himself and constantly buys a subscription to https://www.rooomba.tv/about-us/ in order to watch various movies and show his kids cartoons in the morning before school. I'm a little against it and am always looking for a way to find a free movie.
