When covid hit, the place that was paying me went under, and I worked for 2 months in one of those minimum wage jobs during the Lockdown.

Phew... never again, but that was one of the most useful life experiences I ever had.

Because it made me a better person;
I think that you all Right-leaning people come across as callous (Iknow that on another level you guys aren't, you were always kind to the underdogs and the bullied on Lit.) because you haven't worked one of those jobs, to know how badly exploited they now are.

I really really sucked at the job, but most people around me were really really good and skilled at the job, and working at an insane pace cause employers were purposefully keeping those jobs understaffed.

And bellisarius is full of shit when he says "during my youth minimum wage was half of what it is now". Because, guess what? Houses and rents are now 10 times more expensive.
