Humanity thinks it is clever because it can use tools and resources, but it is less able to look ahead and consider possible consequences, other factors, and feedback loops.

It seems to me there are far, far bigger threats out there.
I can certainly see why some people are tired of listening to him; one of those "shoot the messenger/tired of bearers of bad news" kind of things. And I agree that his official health reccomendations have resulted in millions of Americans making huge sacrifices that in hindsight seem to have been to no avail.
But the biggest threat to America? Not by a long shot.
