The media, health officials, and Big Tech have been quick to condemn COVID-19 “misinformation” or conspiracy theories.

They’ve censored social media posts and banned users, from high-profile lawmakers to your grandmother. They’ve locked down the country, shuttered businesses and churches, arrested pastors, ordered the masking of children for years, and fired essential workers over resisting mandated vaccinations. All for the sake of “slowing the spread” of the coronavirus pandemic.

We now know that we have been lied to by the very people who claimed to be protecting us, and we have been lied to repeatedly. So, let’s take a look at just a few of the COVID-19 conspiracy theories that weren’t: 10 times that media, health officials, or our very own president were proven to have lied about the coronavirus pandemic.

If US citizens had followed advice voluntarily, the US government would have had to 'mandate' anything.

But many US citizens think that their Freedums trump their own health that over 800,000 have died. If they had followed the advice, flawed though it was at first, that death figure would have been significantly lower. It could not have been nil.

But you see... it wasn't the US government. It was the executive branches in the US government and the various states ruling by executive order and subverting the legislative process.

Maybe the "emergency" really was an emergency. Maybe it was just a flexing of the muscles to determine the scope of an executive's "emergency powers"

After two years, there's no reason the legislature(s) couldn't have ratified the actions of the executive(s).

I never said you weren't able to make as many threads on the same topic as you desire....you certainly are able to do so. But the desire to keep harping on the same bullshit without any real new information.....how many times do people need to talk about Ivermectin, vaccines, mandates that don't even exist? Grievances being repeated over and over for no purpose other than to vent.

Can't you just pull up one thread and use it when you feel the need to add on the same topic?

Bill Maher blasts pandemic misinformation spread by health officials

Liberal talk show host Bill Maher has had an awakening about the COVID-19 pandemic in recent months. Maher ripped the legacy media for "scaring the s**t" out of people over COVID-19. He slammed those "on the left" who "politicized" the antiparasitic drug ivermectin. Maher skewered "pain in the a** blue states" for stringent COVID-19 restrictions while praising red states as a "joy." Maher trashed Democrats for pandemic rules that he classified as "mindless bureaucracy."

He called the pandemic limitations that have been put on kids – who have a very high COVID-19 survivor rate – "unnecessary and horrible."

Maher cited a recent study out of Johns Hopkins University that found lockdowns "had little to no effect on COVID-19 mortality" but "imposed enormous economic and social costs." He mocked, "Okay, that’s kind of a big one to get wrong."

"We’ve had this problem in medicine for a long time," he added. "The same people who, in private care, always say, get a second opinion, want to allow only one in the public debate."
