As always, the folks on Twitter can be counted on to call out the president's failings. First, Biden did that creepy whisper thing again. Why doesn't anyone tell him to stop doing that?

After he finished his thrilling speech, the president wandered away from the podium, in the wrong direction, then turned back to to do a bit of maskless handshaking before being reminded by Sen. Klobuchar to put his mask on.

Finally, the first lady came to the rescue and led him off the stage, holding his hand as he shuffled and appeared to be on the verge of losing his balance. "So much strength communicated here," a video posted on Twitter was captioned.

You all know Biden ain't senile.

Yes, he's beyond senility. The proper diagnosis would be Vascular dementia. Yes, that is what it is. So, your ignorant vote was instrumental in placing a mentally disabled person in the White House.

If you say that three times and click your heels together, a Visiting Angel will descend to give Joe his afternoon pudding cup today.

LOL

Give him a break, Biden is the best the Dems can come up with.

That's the real problem, fire anyone of their incompetent leaders and they replace them with someone worse.

Nahhh. A vote for anyone with an emotional maturity exceeding that of a 13-year-old would have been smart vote against Trump.

Smart people are still glowing from not having that narcissist in the White House. Thanks, Biden, for kicking Trump's ass in the last election.

His mental clarity is visibly superior to yours.

Be sure to let everyone know when Biden sides with Putin instead of the FBI, CIA and NSA.

So was yours in 2016, what's your point?

This is the problem with BOTH parties. Surely the Democrats could have (and probably should have) come up with someone better.

However, Biden is still light-years better than some of the outright sociopaths the Republicans have put up for nomination. And clearly, a far, far better president than Trump was. Which isn't saying much because frankly, even though I'd STILL take him over Trump, Biden really isn't doing a very good job.

The Republicans need to come up with a rational, sane, fair, and moral candidate who clearly has the best interests of the people in mind. Not a corrupt, self-serving, power hungry wanna-be dictator, bigot, white nationalist, far-right serving autocrat whose misguided policies benefit only the very few. Someone like Eisenhower, George Bush Sr., or even Ronald Reagan.

There has been no place for such in the GOP for some decades now.

I know, and this is sad. I used to BE a Republican, and a part of me still identifies as such, but I typically have vote Democrat recently only because the Republican candidate is so bad as to be virtually unelectable.
This is where a moderate Republican would do well, to build a following of disenfranchised center-right voters who have been put off by the ideological extremes of the far-right and Trump-ass-kissing Republicans, but who fear the Democrats are drifting too far to the left. Such a candidate would need to build a groundswell of support from mainstream voters.

But what worries me is that the current Republicans these days aren't so much worried about winning over voters, as they have accepted that their extremist positions will never be popular enough with voters. Rather, instead of winning votes, they are focused on illegitimate power grabs, and rule through voter suppression, and rigging and overturning elections that don't go their way. This is why I am REALLY scared of the Republican party right now. It is becoming a force that is antithical to a free and democratic constitutional republic, and that is not what an American political party should be doing.
