The entire month of February is CRT and should be banned

We need to skip the month of February and just go into March. Having a month for "black history" is divisive and CRT. I dare anyone to go into anyplace that has some black history stuff up and ask them if they would have a white history month that celebrates our founding fathers and they won't do it.

Yes, the entire month of February triggers racist assholes.

It's fun

Vet should be tied to a chair and made to listen to black history for the whole month. :D

The good news is that February is the shortest month.

"It's like, 'Y'all can have your own month,' but they made it the shortest month of the year! They also made it the coldest month of the year, just in case we wanted to have a parade!"

Maybe you should move to Iceland. No black people there. On second thought, naaah, their government is too altruistic. You might like North Korea better. No black people there, and their government is right up your alley.

Seriously dude, quit making so many threads.

I'm pretty sure Vetteman is a deep cover liberal. Only doing this to make the RW look stupid.

When our current events enter the history texts, they will need to record all the redneck racist opposition to CRT, along with Rudy Giuliani appearing on The Masked Singer.

Yes, definitely, we need a month to celebrate the acceptance of slavery by our founding fathers. Maybe we can include some human interest stories about their affairs with slaves.

The right is making no real distinction between CRT and any version of history where they didn't save America from the Heathens and improve the lives of Africans.

No, it's the left using CRT to turn history into modern propaganda to justify their bigotry and hate.

Teaching history is not CRT.

CRT is all history. It's just a matter of emphasis. CRT focuses on those aspects of American history its detractors would prefer to ignore, and for schoolchildren to ignore -- but they're all real and documented. Nobody's making shit up here. "Afrocentrism" might be bullshit -- there is no meaningful way in which African-Americans can claim ancient Egypt as part of their heritage -- but CRT ain't.

Only in your wildest dreams. We don't even get around to telling it how it is and why it is. There isn't enough hate on the Left to be worthy of mention in an adult conversation. You just hate the truth and it shows in your every move.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Black History Month.

You're never too old to learn.

Accurately taught it is.

CRT makes the erroneous assumption that nothing has changed in America since the 1920s, that the overt racism that existed in that era simply went undergound and now permeates every institution in the country, and that it takes trained CRT experts to ferret that racism out.

It's a religion in all but name.

That is an assumption that you are making.

The overt racism DID simply go underground and in larger numbers than we thought. That however has nothing to do with teaching history as it actually happened and to bring up very real issues that continue to this very day. Which again has little to do with just teaching what happened.

But, that is not erroneous.
