...using the exact kind of rhetoric that engendered jan6th. his comments created security concerns for Georgia prosecutor, who was compelled to request additional safety checks from the FBI. JUST like his speeches leading up to the attack on the Capitol, he tells them 'They're going after YOU! They're taking everything away... from YOU!'. He winds them up, clockwork toys frothing at the mouth with rage, then just like his own personal toy he points them in the direction he chooses and lets them go. He will continue to do this as long as the people allow him to do it.

In another part of his speech cited by Willis, Trump called the prosecutors investigating him — in Manhattan for fraud and in Fulton County for election interference — "vicious, horrible people."

"They're racist and they're very sick. They're mentally sick," Trump said. "They're going after me without any protection of my rights by the Supreme Court or most other courts. In reality they're not after me, they're after you and | just happen to be the person that's in the way."

Trump, who is at the center of at least two criminal investigations, told a rally of thousands of supporters on Saturday that "if these radical, vicious, racist prosecutors do anything wrong or illegal, I hope we are going to have in this country the biggest protests we have ever had, in Washington, D.C., in New York, in Atlanta and elsewhere."

Willis cited that and other comments from the rally in her request to Special Agent in Charge J.C. Hacker.

"I am asking that you immediately conduct a risk assessment of the Fulton County Courthouse and Government Center, and that you provide protective resources to include intelligence and federal agents," Willis wrote.
his mealy-mouthed 'if they do anything illegal' means nothing, since the crowd's idea of what constitutes 'illegal' is spotty, at best, and more about what they feel should be illegal. By calling 'the biggest protests we've ever had', he's calling for something even WORSE than jan6th.

At his AZ rally he just said the same old shit, and got very little press coverage. With his TX rally comments, he’s back in the headlines.

As long as he's using rhetoric that will sink him in court, that's fine with me. We remain at the point of proving out the "no one's above the law" adage, though.

It's like a person building up a tolerance to a drug -- you need ever-larger doses to do the trick.

how many will overdose on him?

a) not enough
b) too many
c) fuck 'em

So far, "B." It was completely disillusioning after a career of serving abroad and defending the United States to find that a third of those in the United States were rotten people.

Did he say that or did you just add that for effect?
those few words you just quoted are my own annotation as clearly indicated by an absence of quotation marks used around t's own words.

can you read?
i quoted his exact words from the article. 'The biggest protests we have ever had'. You call jan6th a 'protest' and not an insurrection, same as he does. He's calling for something bigger than that. It's not difficult to understand.

much the same as most countries, i'd imagine. we just need to make sure the 2/3's voices are louder than that 1/3's.

no political party should decide policy based on fearing their base

no voter should vote while in fear of their party

"It will all be worth it."

Trump talked his way into conning people.

Trump conned Americans into believing that he had wide supprt - in reality,
his back room deals with campaign donors had the working class employees
herded into closed venues on private property, under threat of loss of earned
wages, loss of working hours, demotions of position. The employees were
threatened - Be quiet, (No personal opinions, allowed) be cooperative, follow
"stage management" (clap when prompted) and stick to the script, (applaud,
or cheer at the prompt)- or you will regret it. Of course, the deal got worse,
as time passed between "Trump road shows." Employees forced to wear
Trump clothing, and to carry Trump signs. Not to mention, being forced
to wait for hours, missing lunch and snack breaks, bathroom breaks.
Half-arsed transportation arrangements. Very poor communications.

Trump exploited the military for other closed venue "road shows."
The worst was Trump disrespecting the C.I.A. headquarters. Trump
brought in "ringers," to cheer for Trump, and confused the young junior
members. The senior members were angered and disgusted.

Trump operated in this manner, over and over, again. Trapped powerless people,
and used them against their will. Creating a false impression is Trump's brand.

bodysong comment - Free speech ? Free will ?
