There are a couple of interesting side issues. Firstly the contract to the Chinese company was made by Defense Dept headed up by that guy responsible for the orderly Afghan exit!

Second point is that this company has no history, nor anywhere near the capacity for making this kind of stuff. They are instrument specialists (blood pressure monitors for example) and my guess is that they are fronting for someone else.

A Korean company which made many of the tests sold to date in Asia is screaming blue murder that someone has pinched their technology.

I cannot give factual confirmation of any of this yet, but it appears a safe bet that this may not end happily.

I doubt you'll find a buyer, but there's always that sucker out there. Maybe do some rework on the boxes to appeal to a particular group....

Maybe put some feel good stuff on the box to appeal to hippies

or highlight the "made in China" emblem and put some unflattering Biden picture with some "thought balloon" on him circling it.....that, for sure, would get a good price from the Trumpies.

Those COVID tests the government sent you might not work

Most at-home COVID-19 test brands recommend storing the tests above 35 degrees. The liquid reagent inside the cartridge*that comes with the at-home tests is susceptible to freezing, and if that happens, the accuracy of the results decreases, Cindy Prins, an associate professor of epidemiology at the University of Florida, told USA TODAY.

With the federal government launching a program to send free at-home COVID-19 tests to Americans who sign up through the website COVIDTests.gov, 1 billion tests have been ordered for distribution via the U.S. Postal Service.

Dr. Geoffrey Baird, chair of laboratory medicine and pathology at the University of Washington's School of Medicine, said the issue with the at-home tests is that if the liquid inside the cartridge is frozen, the results can be skewed.
