Poor Eleanor, she died before the public was intorduced to jacuzzi and hot tubs which means she missed out on the joy of getting in hot water that way.
She might have visited a hot spring but sulphur and romance don't mix (except on FetLife and that's a section or two best overlooked).
Looking at pictures of FDR. There's NO way the two of them ever shared a normal hot bath.
Worse for her, if she thought the only way a man, including FDR, could test a woman's strength was waiting for her to get into "hot water" it means he didn't share any of Uncle Teddy's Roughrider tendencies.
