I didn't know that in particular about him, but I'm not at all surprised. He's always been the single most unapologetically racist Lit member I know (and that is saying a LOT).

He is the sort of racist who believes white people have some sort of duty to be loyal to their race as one is to one's country, and to preserve its existence as a race.

As opposed to the likes of Trouvere, who subscribes to racial pseudoscience about the mental inferiority of blacks, but does not appear to think of races as if they were nations in that way.

The first kind is more dangerous -- it's how Hitler thought, only he narrowed "race" down to "nation." Which was kind of implied all along, by the thinking of nationalism as it emerged in the 19th Century.

We probably won't be hearing from renard again -- he rarely revisits the threads he starts.
