How did this person, known to be on the terror watch list in the UK, get a visa from the US Department of State? How many more have been let into the country the incompetent Biden Administration?

How did the Texas synagogue jihadi get a tourist visa to come to the U.S. despite having a criminal record?

“‘How was he allowed into the US to begin with?’ House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy demands answers from the Biden administration about how British synagogue gunman with criminal convictions was let into America,” by Elizabeth Elkind and Jennifer Smith, DailyMail.com, January 18, 2022:

‘Over the past 48 hours, President Biden’s Justice Department has gone from denying the clear and religious, anti-Semitic implications of this attack to now backtracking to what we all already knew to be true. Now as more information becomes available, it only raises more questions,’ McCarthy said in a statement first sent to DailyMail.com.

The top GOP lawmaker in the House of Representatives accused Biden officials of ‘downplaying’ the attack and demanded to know why the FBI ‘initially disregard[ed] the role anti-Semitism played in this hostage situation.’

‘How was it that someone with an apparent criminal record and suspicious travel history was allowed into the United States to begin with?’ he also questioned. ‘What national security concerns remain?’…

Akram’s family say he had a criminal history but somehow, he was able to get an ESTA tourist visa – which are supposed to be off-limits to foreigners who have broken the law.

Akram spent two weeks at a homeless shelter in Dallas, during which time he was able to buy a gun on the street….

Not true. Biden's very first public comments on the situation acknowledged that Akram "was using anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli comments" https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...ongregation-beth-israel-in-colleyville-texas/

What McCarthy might be referring to - and I am being extremely generous here - is the standard procedure of law enforcement to say nothing specific on the record while the investigation is still in process, to avoid getting hung up on any legal technicalities down the road. But if so, he knows perfectly well why they handled it the way they did.

Members of Congress have always handed out tourist visas like candy.

How naive does the OP have to be to think that the president should know everything that happened in the United States in the last two weeks.

I smile at the thought of the grasp his hero, Donald Trump, had about much of anything other than golf.

My understanding is, UK citizens (I guess the technically correct term is still "subjects") don't even need to apply for a visa to visit the USA, only an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA). Maybe that's what he should have been unable to get because of his criminal record?

The fault lies with the Biden State Department, dope.

Why is this thread addressed to the "CinC"? It has nothing to do with the president in his military capacity.

Because, buttheads, the President was going to have a press conference and somebody should have asked him that question.

Why? It's the kind of routine decision made far below his level, and never even brought to his attention at the time.

What a stupid question.

I figured out why Rightguard and the other board Trumpettes are dumping so much of this stuff on the board today--it's because so much is going on in the real news in pinning down Trump and his children on their involvement in a coup attempt against the United States--and, oh, yeah, in finding out that Guiliani himself was at the action end of the really dumb attempt to change the electors in several states.

Also, the state-level legal shit they're sinking into in in NY.
