What do you do for service on MLK day or any other day of the year? I try to do this every Year if I can and also on other day of the year..to give back, volunteer, and help my community and surrounding communities.

Yeah, that isn't a great day to share it with for sure. I try to do my best in teaching some of our native history here when I'm doing hiking tours along the Schuylkill.

We know some of the site locations and some of the history. Ultimately, natives were displaced here like everywhere in the USA and I make sure every person I talk to knows the progression of events as best we know via historical accounts from the Delaware Lenape and settler records.

Neopagans have the Wheel of the Year -- marked by the two solstices, two equinoxes, and the four "cross-quarter" days midway between them.

Eight days spaced evenly around the year -- that would make a good holiday-schedule. Always one to look forward to in six weeks or less.

I just got back.... nothing is so satisfying as participating with others in ones community, working towards a common good that benefits all of us.

I recommend it for everyone. Doesn't matter what the cause...pick one...just do it!
