NFL Playoffs - It's On!

The Green Bay Packers will win it all. Aaron Rogers is just too good.

Ben

Go Chiefs! (I just want to keep looking at Travis Kelce.)

The Chiefs are good and Kelce is good, too. And Mahomes. I would really like to see the Chiefs face the Packers in the Super Bowl, but I don't think they will get past Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

Agreed, Chiefs defense is too inconsistent...sometimes they are on top of everything and the next game they can't stop the run game or the pass.

Congrats to the Bengals! That playoff win was a long time coming.

I agree. But they did try and lose it in the last 2 minutes and it was not a touchdown. Rule clearly states if a whistle blows...even inadvertently...the play is immediately stopped. Still...I will take it

Dude I hope you are right and the Bucs make it back but they are really beat up. No Godwin, no AB, no playoff Lenny. Even David, JPP and Shaq are beat up and might miss action. But you always have a shot with TB12.

Referees are part of the game. If you are not good enough to overcome one bad call, you are not good enough to win.

Packers are my team, so I gotta wait a week to be emotionally invested.

This weekend I'm cheering for the Bengals and Bills, because they haven't had much in a long time.

Point by point, I 100% agree with everything you just said.

Ben

Who are you thinking is the hardest competition or is this year just the we see what team shows up each week?

I'm not hard core enough of an NFL fan to answer that. I like the Packers. But that's mostly because the networks in my area broadcasted a Packers game seemingly every single week. Still, from what I have seen, the Packers are a rock solid team and Aaron Rogers is definitely deserving of all the hype he gets. I pick the Packers to win it all, and I think Tampa Bay is the most likely team to give them a run for the money. The Chiefs have an outside shot at it, and everybody else are just also rans.

Whistle blew while the pass was in mid-air. I think he would have completed in regardless.

Fair enough, I'm a firm believer in to be the best you have to beat the best and until Brady is out of the playoffs his team is the one to beat.

Without the illegal TD for the Bengals, the game would have been tied and gone into OT.

Me? I know it's fucking impossible, but I'm praying for a miracle and the Steelers over the Chiefs with Big Ben extending his career one more game.

I think it's doable.

Currently residing in Kansas and man these chief fans are something else, but honestly I think this year is the chiefs are suspect. Early in the season they got exposed and the steelers can do it. The defense needs to hit Mahomes early and often.

Everybody loves a Cinderella story. Ain't gonna happen, tho.

Doesn't matter. Rule is very clear and has been called many times correctly. The play should have been done over. What bothers me most about this....every play is reviewed by the League in the last 2 minutes of the half....as well as every scoring play. The fact this was not overruled speaks volumes about what we all know is true about most sports anymore: rules do not matter

No Edwards-Helaire for Chiefs. Steelers could pull it out. Run Harris into ground and hope for some dumb plays by Mahomes.

Rules matter. Referees are there to enforce the rules, and they ALMOST get it right every time. But they are human, too, and they do make mistakes. In this case, they did make a mistake. But referees - mistakes and all - are a part of the game. The game is over, and the outcome will not change no matter how much Raiders fans may whine about it.

I said it before, but it bears repeating: if you are not good enough to overcome one bad call, you are not good enough to win.

Ben

The Raider fans should he pissed they committed so many dumb penalties. Still almost tied game but Carr through into double coverage. Raiders made way more mistakes than refs.
