It should be illegal for movie theaters to forbid their patrons from smuggling in their own snacks from home. If movie theater owners want to make a profit from their concession stands, they should think twice about the economics of charging $30 for a soda and a box of popcorn.

Everyone who runs for public office should be required to have a four-year Political Science degree from an accredited university. Further, they should be required to pass an oral exam administered by a panel of ivy league college professors on basic civics, ethics, and the content and meaning of the U.S. Constitution. It is sheer madness that the most influential jobs in the United States, jobs that have the most direct impact on the greatest number of lives, require Zero in the way of earned credentials.

Runaway idiocy must be cut off at the head. The days of electing has-been actors and all-for-me Reality TV Show nitwits to top tier government positions has simply got to end.
