Fauci is becoming to be seen as a political liability and as such his days are numbered. The administration is in the process of changing the reporting rules and formats as well as cleaning up the "over reporting" that was previously encouraged. The 'lap dog' media will be playing along with the administration in this effort. As Fauci is being seen as out of step with these efforts to mold a more favorable public image of the administrations responses he will necessarily have to be marginalized.

--His pandemic control measures were common sense - what any doctor would have done,
(yet the republican anti-maskers actively sabotaged any effort to stop the spread. THEY have a lot to answer to.
--And one can argue that him suggesting a MASSMEDIA blackout on the Wuhan lab thing in 2020 WAS NECESSARY, cause public non-cooperation and instability during a crisus is the last thing needed.

But his attempt to suppress any dialogue among SCIENTISTS bordered on criminal.
We Could have had other more effective vaccines or treatments by now.
