Blue Jones

Thoroughly debauched and morally corrupt, Blue rules over Lennox House with an iron fist. He also uses the asylum as his personal brothel, piggy bank and toy box--exploiting the female inmates entrusted to his care. His ego drives him, even more than his libido and greed. He revels in being the king and ruler of his small, fucked-up domain.

Acting as pimp for the unwilling, but helpless inmates of Lennox House, he exploits their handicaps and the fact that they are deemed untrustworthy by society. He brings in high-paying Johns to be satisfied and entertained by "his" girls, but the cash doesn't stop him from being jealous. Deep down, Blue sees himself as the victim of a system which forces him to retain absolute control of mentally unstable girls.

His thirst for control is reflected in the "Master Key" that he keeps around his neck at all times.

Madam Gorski

Unconventional therapist and unwilling madam to Blue's underground brothel, Madam Gorski believes that she is teaching the girls how to survive. Unlike her superior, she knows what she's doing is wrong--but she also knows that it would be worse for them if she wasn't there to make their living hell more livable.

At least that's what she tells herself when she struggles to sleep at night. In truth she's more terrified of Blue than any of the inmates, knowing first hand what it's like to be a victim of his brutal wrath. She uses music and dance as a form of therapy and focuses as much as she can on the performative aspects of the business to distract herself from what's really taking place around her.

Sweet Pea

Blond. Beautiful. Brave. Sweet Pea is the alpha at Lennox House. Sweet Pea doesn't cry, not like the other girls. She's a natural leader and most of the others look up to her. Sweet Pea is strong and capable. She has to be for her little sister Rocket.

Perhaps her name is something of a joke, since Sweet Pea is far from sweet. Yeah, she complies with the rules and pleases her clients, but she does it with a constant pout on her face. She works hard to conceal her emotions for the sake of the others so the only emotion she emits is one of a sharp attitude.

She thinks she’s Blue’s favorite girl… for the moment, at least. Maybe it’s because she’s the best dancer, or maybe it’s because she’s not a big fucking cry baby like most of the others.

Rocket

Rocket is softer than her older sister, more pliable, definitely more hopeful. Naive. Sweet like candy. She has a perky personality and a perky young body. Rocket is sweet but stupid, at least according to her sister. Rocket is the reason they're stuck in Lennox House after all. It was her bright idea to go running away from home. Rocket is impulsive and unpredictable, but sweet and earnest, so it’s hard to stay angry with her.

Amber

Amber is a favorite of the most sophisticated of customers, because she knows how to act like a proper lady, a good little doll. She is sweet and empathetic. She's very sensitive and not much of a leader, but she's a loyal and caring friend. Though not brave by herself, Amber finds strength in others.

Babydoll

Despite everything that she has gone through Babydoll knows the difference between right and wrong. She was brought to asylum because her stepdad was intending to sexually assault her little sister. As a way to fight back, she found the gun he usually kept hidden and while meaning to shoot him as he was trying to assault her sister, she shot her sister instead. This was what brought Babydoll to Lennox House since she couldn’t for some fucked up reason shoot her stepdad when she had the chance.

Blondie​

Blondie considers herself to be the badass of the group. She’s also very suspicious of new people so it makes sense that she’s hesitant to trust Babydoll. Not to mention that it feels like since the new girl is well…new that all the guys seem to want her attention more. Blondie is horrible when it comes to keeping secrets. She’s not actually blonde and it’s suspected that her nickname comes from her not so intelligent comments from time to time.

I’m still here and I haven’t forgotten you all. I just started a new job a week after we started this and am still trying to work in my creative ventures while managing a desk job. I shall respond HOPEFULLY this weekend.

Admittedly I've been doing my own Houdini act lately as we approach Axe Throwing Championship season. I'm really trying to turn the corner in this sport so I've been spending a lot more time practicing and it's cut into my writing time.

That said, I think I've broken through the block (more or less) and I'm working on getting caught up.

May still be a minute, but I'm working on it.

My post is up and it's the first dose of our second level delusion. I'm trying to keep parallels between what's happening in our narrative universe (Brothel) and the fantasy realm (???) while maintaining that neither are actual reality (though it's fair to assume more parallels exist).

I too am interested in said ace throwing. I recently stabbed my hand with a cutting knife…it was a minor injury like it still hurts but also didn’t need stitches. But I can sooooo relate to being clumsy and know that axe throwing is definitely not in my future. Lol.

Well, I went with friends for my birthday about 3 years ago and fell in love. I've worked as a coach ever since, throwing competitively for as long. Mostly I've just lost graciously, but this year I switched to a Premier Rules league (new rule changes, much harsher) and I'm kind of turning a corner.

Regional Qualifiers are this Saturday. There's a cash prize. I want to win really bad.

As for clumsiness, the people who do best in my experience are people who come in without any habits to unlearn. Basketball players, baseball players, football, golf, tennis, bowling.... most have muscle memory wrist action on the last moment, a very disruptive habit to a beginner's throw.

I have no doubt I could get you both sticking bullseye shots within an hour, but I'm a much better coach than I am a competitor.

Sadly, I did not.

I fought like hell though. First round I went down 0-2 and rallied back to win 3-2. Won in the second round 3-0, but then I met up with the guy who went on to win the whole thing (already qualified for IATCs) and he mopped me. In B bracket, I went down 0-2 again--battled back again, won 3-2--only to get bounced the next round 1-3 against a very good thrower with whom I have a personal (complicated) history.

The money brought out a lot of really good competitors, most of whom already qualified for the Championships--but I still have hope. There's a "Wildcard" tournament coming up, those already qualified are ineligible to compete. That one has a cash prize too. I think I have a chance... We'll see.
