I watched the first few episodes of 1883 on Paramount. Supposed to be the prequel.
It's a bit slow so far.

Season 4 was balls. Ruined the show for me.

Taylor Sheridan has spread himself too thin and the writing has suffered. They never explained what happened to the woman who got shot with John and the kid in the field looking for the lug nuts. When Rip came to save John, they had vanished.

They never explained where Garette, who spent 30 years in prison got the money to fund about 25 hit men.
