Because now they only repeat phrases like "voter fraud" like they feel obliged to, not like they mean it. They've given up on claiming that audits will reveal anything we haven't known for a year.
Also, on this day of days, no Lit deplorable save the eternal uberloon renard ruse has ever suggested that the 1/6 rioters had right on their side. The rest have only tried to deflect blame for the riot or minimize its significance, not to justify it.

There was an attack on our capitol with the full intent of killing members of our congress in particular the vice president. Something that hasn't happened in any of our life times. It was an attempt to overthrow a legal election. The next time the history books are updated this will be one of those landmark events that nobody ever forgets. Right up there with 9/11 and before that maybe Woodstock or something in the Civil Rights movement to find anything remotely on par.
The real question is why you would question its significance, but I forget. You support overthrowing our legal government with blood. That is the one and only reason you would question it.
Woodstock could safely be omitted from the history books.
