Personally, Jan 6 was worse for me It demonstrated that there are people who believe fantasies that would overthrow the government to support.

Agitators who are violent are more of a one off situation that coopt protests. They are also much easier to control with enough police presence and preparation. The summer protests weren't a coordinated and sustained plan

Just based on the behind the scenes planning, this siege on the Capitol could've evolved quickly to a long and sustained attack on our federal institutions. I don't believe our government is robust enough to maintain through that.
