Where are the folks resigning going....it's definitely a question I have because I'd like to learn about it and what these folks have figured out for themselves.

Turns out they are doing something quite good for the Country...moving from one industry to another, investing in themselves educationally and also investing in their families and children who need them.

Kudo's to them!

Probably people Biden told the blue states to fire for not getting vaxxed. They're probably moving to red states that still believe in the Constitution.

great article, especially that bit about free nursing training

as for the stats, they speak for themselves:
According to the latest jobs report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 4.5 million people quit their jobs in November. Many of them work in the hospitality or health care industries. During the same month, 6.7 million people were hired.
yes, some are retiring earlier than they might have, and some deciding it makes financial/emotional sense to become full-time parents (NOT a bad thing, kids have needs!), but for those leaving the workforce it means others get a step in/up where they might not have before. And for all those swapping jobs to something more rewarding mentally or financially, it's all good!
“There are jobs in manufacturing, jobs in construction, jobs in healthcare that have huge career potential, a lot of growth opportunities and opportunities to make a much higher wage than you might have made previous to COVID,” Grove said.

The two industries seeing the biggest gains in Minnesota are manufacturing and construction. Grove said on-the-job training is a big reason for that.

The president has no authority to do that. But you knew that.

So great! 🙄

The lockdowns made people realize that there's more to life than working. Americans tend to work harder than any other country and quality of life suffers. Many found they can make ends meet by working gig jobs or starting homebased businesses.

The 9-5 model is dead.

I became self-employed 20 years ago and haven't regretted a minute of it. I can't imagine having someone else telling me when and where to go to work.

This is how the market works! People make decisions based off of their own self interest, and out of that, they make their lives better.

No central planning, no regulations, no laws. Just a whole lot of individuals making a call and going with it.

I support the market and these people's decisions to transition to new jobs. I hope they prosper.

:D

Exactly. Why should I bust my ass for a year and get a turkey for Xmas when I can get a car?

Democrats can't stand that....they fucking hate it and will move to regulate against it as they did in California.

You don't get shit comrade, government gets everything, you need to pay your fair share.... don't be selfish.

You're self-employed. Great. Just because you are doesn't mean the "9-5 model is dead". The majority of workers in America today work for someone else.

"Probably" here means you are just talking through your ass. :D

That's a lot of "probably" to definitively prove you're a fucking idiot.

I know he doesn't, but that didn't stop him from doing it. The truth is, he thought he did, because he's a mental trainwreck, like you.

Both of them know the President'ss limitations. You don't. You're just being a lying histrionic little bizznatch.

Like emobo, you always play the idiot in any discussion. Way to go, brandon! Lol

Prove it isn't. It could very well be a great fracture in American society going on right now. People fleeing Marxist blue states for freedom-loving and economically successful red states where their children can go to school and they can work.

Talk about a mental trainwreck. This senile old fool can't even keep his shit straight in the same thread.

Its true, we hate things that don't work. Unlike the right who thrive on inefficiency. Yes you do have to pay your fair share.
