You believe they are.mutually exclusive
prioritizing (present participle)
designate or treat (something) as more important than other things.
YES~!
So you're saying you cant have a POC without lessening qualifications
Thanks for confirming
If POCs are as qualified as anyone else, in the same numbers, why do we have affirmative action and other racially discriminating schemes like "equity?"
So you're saying that white men are superior and that woman and poc are less qualified.
Thanks for publicly stating this again
Answer my question. Isn't that the underlying assumption?
Affirmative action is meant to bring in multicultural perspectives.
It's not a performance base adjustment
Evidene that it is effective in doing this?
And, of course, it's used cynically in this way. It's mostly used to overcome performance gaps.
how about people who can do a great job
He is doing a great Job of it!
Hey America, this is what equity looks like. Great stuff, eh?
Doing this is an affirmation that having a more diverse workforce results in a better performance.
I can understand diversity in thought, but what does skin color have to do with it? Do certain races all think a certain way?
Differing perspectives lead to a more robust approach. This exists in race and gender and ideology.
No kidding? Tell us what white people think about, say, bridge-building as opposed to black or Asian people.
Again, you're just self owning. There is no "best" approach to solutions, but having different perspectives leads to more creative solutions, which typically result in better outcomes.

I don't see what is "self-owning." What special thinking is intoduced through diversity? Do black, Asian, etc. people think differently?
Why don't you answer my question?
What special thinking would make them less qualified for the job?
There's nothing about his directive that says they should hire someone less qualified for the position
