San Franciscans tired of crime in the area told Fox News the situation is terrible and the mayor has a lot of work to do.

Residents such as Madeline said crime has grown worse, the outlet reported Friday.

“I’ve just noticed that there’s a lot more, you know, like car break-ins and a lot of things,” she explained.

An individual named Clint said, “I’m as left as they come and I’ve been pushed more to the middle because of this kind of policy. The whole policy for years now has been like just hands-off, let them do whatever they want … It’s terrible. It’s brutal.”

"we found this guy......"

Are we back to the walk away bullshit again?

Better run that by BotanyBoy. He thinks San Franciscans are the scum of the earth.

One of the reasons many San Francisco residents want to leave is the high cost of living there. Life in San Francisco is expensive because people with well educated, high grade intelligence want to live there.

Seattle used to be that way with all the high tech shit on South Lake Union and up the Denny regrade. That was until the City Council decided to run them all off.

But I guess the Council were never taught that old adage:

Don't shit where you eat.

They've never addressed the need or housing. A big part of it is supply demand.

It's real. More people are leaving than are coming in. CA is losing a congressional seat because of it. It isn't bullshit.

Are you saying that "an individual named Clint" will not deliver the balance of power to the Republicans in California?

It happens every decade. A few states lose seats and a few others gain them. The reasons why are many and complex, but when it's a state right-wingers love to hate, of course they're going to blame it on liberal politics.

There is very little about CA and even less about SF that is liberal.

You need to look that word up, it's not defined as "Democrats and anything they say/support/promote." .

And I'm sure the leftist politics that have turned the place into a dumpster of a city have nothing to do with people and businesses leaving. :D

It also doesn't mean anything like what you seem convinced it means. (Yes, the definition you always parrot is correct; but it does not fit your politics at all.)

Of course it is, you're right the definitions in the dictionaries and encyclopedias are correct. And it is reflective of my personal politics...... your claim otherwise has never once come with anything to support it.

My brand of liberalism despite having several shared positions with social liberals (lefty liberals) overall I lean classical liberal and nothing triggers the shit out of authoritarian leftist more than a classical liberal except for maybe libertarians.

Closer to the truth to say there's no use in trying to reason with you about that (or anything, but especially that).

Oh, yes, it is. This is a fight you can't win. When Americans say "liberal" they mean this, and that will not change in your lifetime.

Yes, saying you just don't have ANYTHING to support your claims to the extent you can't even attempt an argument is much closer the truth.

The fact is I'm very much a liberal, a "Classical English" or "Western" liberal to be precise.....very much like libertarians, except we don't reject the concept of positive liberty.

You just don't like me so you make false statements about my beliefs.

You mean like the way you always accuse progressives of hating America? No, I don't believe I've ever done that.
