I had nearly two glasses of wine and managed to make it until midnight. We usually have a small gathering with great people and a nice spread. Maybe next year.

This evening? Yes. We had the family get together today with all doors and windows open. Luckily it is a very warm day for January.

Too much!
We did a New Years Eve package so I are too much, then danced too much (maybe the 6” heels are for younger women) I was definitely tipsy in the elevator going back to our room…
We got up for brunch at 8ish and got late check out so we could go back to bed…

Edibles, smoke, and wax. Melatonin for sleep. I was out around 12:15 when the fireworks stopped. No recovery is needed.

I did a rapid test which was negative. Went to the doctor and they said Covid. I was too sick to stand outside in the cold, in a line up, for 3 hours. Ugh.Ugh, I thought you were negative.Hope your symptoms are mild like Jomar’s.

It was like a really nasty cold. But a little beyond that. At first it felt like Strep Throat. I have never blown my nose so much.
I did see the doctor, oxygen was at 100 percent and lungs clear, no pneumonia.
Today is day 13. I feel fine, just exhausted now. I slept until noon, which I never ever do.
Even my dogs were congested, no appetite :eek and wouldn’t get up in the morning.

Only three ditched cars locally on New Year's Day morning - fewer than usual. The boy racers were out from New Year Midnight until 2.30 am when the Police arrived in our town.
They will drive when drunk or high on drugs.

New years day i was rather worse for wear,went to fireworks display then celebrated with shots and all sorts, seemed a good idea at the time, Saturday i paided for it. Today is a chilling day

Thanks. Going on day 4. Dam sore throat feels like strep so I keep knocking it down with tea/honey and occasional advil. Feels slightly better today. Hope you are doing well.

Another recovering from Covid; manifested as nasty bronchitis in all its un-glory. Taking antibiotic, cough meds, etc. Quarantined in my apartment (retirement community rules). Started Christmas day, Covid diagnosed on 27th; so either 8 days or 6 days in, depending on how I count. Getting better though. Yes, I was double vaxxed plus booster, all Pfizer. Life....

as for me, recovering from too much rich food... body's craving simple, clean, fresh salads, no more dense dressing and gravies and meat, meat, meat. no more pie. but i could still hurt some cheese
