I hope he accepted the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ prior to his death! The alternative is NOT good!

He was a Mormon. The name Jesus Christ is right there in the official name of their church.
I was no Harry Reid fan, but the entire country can thank him for the confirmations of Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. Harry’s decision to invoke the “nuclear option” gave President Trump and Senator McConnell the tool they needed to get these Federalist Society judges confirmed. When Roe gets gutted next year by SCOTUS and states begin banning abortions, the country will have Harry to thank.![]()

Yes, the same Mitch McConnell who made up one fake "rule" to deny Obama a vote on a Supreme Court justice, and then abandoned that "rule" four years later when it served Republican interests, would have been completely prevented from abolishing the filibuster for Supreme Court justices if not for Harry Reid. What a load of shit.
What "rule?" There was no rule that would have required a vote on the hapless and now known to be incompetent, Garland.![]()
The point is, if eight months before the next election is too late for a sitting president to nominate a justice, then a few weeks before is too late as well.
Justices require the advice and consent of the senate. If he won't pass a vote, why bother?
