Biden Xmas special receives massive mocking: ‘Freaking weirdos’ ‘out of touch’

A video of nurses dancing and singing “We Need a Little Christmas” during the celebrity-studded White House Christmas special is getting roasted on online. “Freaking weirdos,” one Twitter reacted. “I cannot but marvel at how out of touch this administration is,” another said.

As Chinese coronavirus cases surge around the United States this Christmas, the dancing nurses are back, dancing in a viral video yet again — but this time, they are performing in the East Room of the White House.

Twitter users had a field day mocking and slamming it.

I thought the program was done very well. They included photos of the Nixons and the Trumps along with all the others in their sweeps of White House Christmases of the past. We all know how the Trumps would have treated that.

I was impressed by Andrea Bocelli's son and daughter singing with him (separately) and the tribute the military service quartet did. The nurses bit was a bit schlocky, yes, but you've really got to be nasty partisan to make fun of including the hospital workers in the program.

Note that? You've really got to be nasty partisan to post a critical thread about the White House Christmas program.

I was impressed that they moved around from room to room in the coverage, a good thing to do in a year in which so few probably were able to see it in person. I was questioning on decorating so fully in a year like this--we've cut back in the decorating of our house since we aren't having any gatherings and leave soon thereafter on a trip--but they were being inclusive in sharing it all publicly and I suppose that taking an optimistic note was the right way to go.
