President Joe Biden’s staffers at the White House are eying the exits, citing dissatisfaction with the president and his staff’s leadership.

Poltico’s West Wing Playbook reports several White House officials complaining of “low morale” while warning of “higher than usual turnover” in 2022.

One official spoke of a failure to rally the troops with team building and coordination. Happy hours and group dinners are not working, and a sense of teamwork and appreciation is not happening.

The feeling is, staffers say, is an “insular, top-heavy” West Wing where aides distance themselves from the rest of the staff. Biden is also distant and invisible and some staffers have not even been able to visit the White House, with the reported problems mirroring those afflicting Vice President Kamala Harris and her staff.

Even passing over the matter of the source's miserable record for factual accuracy, there is nothing unusual here. It's an extremely stressful work environment, and it's perfectly normal for people to leave after a year or so. Heck, DC in general has very little job security.

Not even close to the carnage of the previous administration

At the start, Trump appeared unclear on the point that a new administration would have to find a staff. He seems to have assumed it worked like a corporate takeover.

This is a stupid, purely partisan take on the issue.

The proper answer, which I have given many times now, FOR THIS ADMINISTRATION,
is that it is a high-turnover endeavor (Dana Perino has written about it) with high
pressure, extreme expectations, loss of family time and the knowledge that upon
resignation, the job opportunities will be bountiful and lucrative...

So, eventually you got around to the nut of it,
but you HAD to preface it with a cheap shot...

:(

I see the usual tools simply cannot discuss politics without dredging up Trump.

They seem to think that he's some magic ace in the hole...

Calling Breitbart a biased source with a lousy track record on factual accuracy is not a cheap shot; it's the truth.

It will remain that way so long as he remains a factor in American politics, which he appears determined to do until the day he dies. He won't just go quietly off and write his memoirs.

He's a factor?

Republicans treat their losers a lot differently than Democrats do.

As far as they are concerned, they can see the quivering fork.
It's the Left that's keeping him alive to motivate their voters
who need a fucking cattle prod to the ass to get motivated.

So, and ironically hysterical, it's the Democrats
who are his dedicated base...

I KNOW!!!

Republicans will get behind you if you run Hillary again.
(Ignore the McCain effect, please!)
