Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson said Tuesday that the unprecedently low polling numbers of the Democratic party indicates it’s “collapse.”

“If these new polling numbers are right, even if they’re just sort of right, this is the end of the Democratic Party as a governing majority,” Carlson said of the results of a poll released Monday that showed President Joe Biden’s approval rating among independent voters to be only 29%.

The NPR/PBS News Hour/Marist poll put Biden’s approval rating at 41%, with those disapproving of his job making up 55% of the 1,400 surveyed voters. The results marked the president’s lowest approval rating since taking office when compared to earlier polls conducted by Marist.

“The Democratic Party is still in power, and that’s a very bad combination for the rest of us. Regimes in decline tend to become dangerous. As they weaken, they get increasingly desperate and ruthless,” Carlson said.

“They’ve been rejected by voters. Democracy doesn’t work for them anymore. That means they can no longer operate within democratic boundaries,” he added. “So, inevitably they swerve outside those boundaries … They invent domestic enemies and national panics to keep themselves in charge. And that’s what we are watching happen right now.”

We should probably start with the fact that even if we want to be crude about it the Democrats and Republicans date back at the youngest to around the Civil War and its not a genuine stretch to say they date back nearly to start of our country in varying ways. Some varient of the North v South divide goes all the way back and yeah something have changed or evolved into what today is closer to rural vs urban/suburban. As we saw from most demonstrably the Hillary v Clinton race in 2016 the Right controls vast spaces of often useless land that nobody lives on. The rich and powerful didn't gloss over (and continue to do so) much of fly over country because they were in awe of its natural beauty and had plans to destroy the west coast or anything.

While we're on the subject before one of you twat waffles tries to sing you "I made the right decisions growing up." Riddle me this. Why is nearly every major population center in the WORLD near if not a an ocean shore, a major water source? Cus if you accept the cold truth of where everybody lives maybe you won the lottery by having the PRIVILEGE of being born either on a coast or along a major water route. New Mexico. . .are they New Mexican? What is the term for that lot? Didn't do anything wrong. Their ancestors recent and ancient settled on shit land. Neither party is going anywhere any time soon. The Green and Libertarians would have to join forces (and since Libertarians are notoriously dishonest I wouldn't past them to support the government picking "winners and losers" so long as they had a healthy reason to believe the next billionaire would be someone who covered the undeveloped deserts into solar and wind farms that they would get first dibs on) AND get all of the independents for at least three cycles to put a dent in the two parties. So suck it up buttercup. That's not how this story ends.

If we look at both the numbers and trends we are most likely going to see a shift toward the Left. Until relatively recently (And even Trump didn't pretend he really gave a shit) abortion was a hill the Right refused to die on for varying reasons. LGBT rights, I recall Trump sending up the dog whistle by posing with whatever woman who should have been fired outright for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples but that was as far as it went. Hell even the cake makers got just enough backing that the religious folks were forced to pretend that these people where their allies instead of just being a dependable bloc and you gotta throw them a legit bone on occasion.

Thing is religion as a whole, Christianity in particular is on the decline in the US. Soon enough they won't provide a solid enough base to justify continually putting up with their bullshit. The "war on Christmas" will end because it's a commercial holiday and Christians will make like a Disney Princess and 'Let it Go'. Atheists and Agnostics aren't complaining about getting between a day and two weeks off to spend with family alone. We might remind you that all the signs in the Bible as well as what we know about Rome would tell us Christ was born in Spring if he even existed. I know plenty of Jews whow celebrate Christmas or converted Hanukah toward Christmas (the gifts part specifically. Turns out its hard to keep kids from converting when Mary Sue and Johnny Bravo have a Playstation 5 and you have dradel.) I don't know any Muslims well enough but I'd wager if nto Christmas they figured out an excuse to give kids toys.
