i'm glad he's saying this stuff now. he should have been saying it all the time.

He got trapped between the science and the dopey unwashed on this from the get go. His administration did get right down to the business of supporting development of the vaccines, but, since his base is the dopey unwashed, he got caught in not being able to cash in pushing the science and preventing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. Poor baby went with insufficient personal backers rather than saving lives.
