Yep. The military justice system is authoritarian by necessity,
not some free-wheeling democracy of free-thinkers. You take
orders or you face the consequences, including discharge and
possible brig time. They give you a ton of shots just as soon
as you enlist and are sworn in...

I might view this issue differently if we were still conscripting recruits,
but it's all-volunteer and you volunteer for a term and agree to follow
orders, and even take your sacred oath on it. You even sign a contract
that states that in clear and certain terms. Once you enlist your are
neither free to pick and choose which orders to obey any more than
you are free to resign at any time that service becomes inconvenient.

We aren't on the cusp of war, there will likely never be a war of the scope our grandparents had to partake in until something really big in the system decides to break. Its likely to be something that creeps up on us via Climate Change or Peak Oil, something like that but nothing else is likely to cause a war that big.

You don't have rights, you have privileges and the hope the government doesn't withdraw them. You sacrifice what semblence of rights you have when you join the military.

Even if Biden would turn the military on the Civilians of the UA I think he'd need to do a lot more than purge those who refused a vaccine to have enough who would fight the people they are (supposedly) protectin.

Take away their fucking Ice Cream! No joke, I went to Iraq. those pricks live in air conditioned shipping containers. With cable! I got to watch Wrestlemania 2003 where I swore Brock Lesnar broke his neck.

By contrast I lived in a tent with. . .they called them AC units. Rats so buff that we started giving them names after a few fount the protien bars and we were certain they were tripping the traps on purpose and doing reps all night. Even in the states we get a fricking One room one bathroom with two or three people on average. Its bullshit.

Exactly. I completely agree and would simply get rid of the Air Force and probably the Marines as well. I'd restructure the entire military. Too much of what we do in this country boils down to "This is how it was done for the last two hundred plus years! Even suggesting we update our processes means we think we are smarter than than Benjamin Franklin. Its all very confusing.

You get injected with a cocktail of unknown (to the recruit) substance at boot camp. You get injected with a cocktail of unknown (to the servicemember) substance before every deployment. Some of the more special among the specialists get additional threat-specific injections. You also get your blood and dna examined so the wet stain can be identified, should the need arise.

I don't like government mandates, but the military is different.
