Most people who get Covid stay home and recover. When the pills are available, many will take them if they feel symptoms. Vaccination status probably won’t be a significant factor.

In the UK they were thoroughly tested (with peer review) before being used. I think that was also true in the US. yes, they accelerated the process, but the full process for acceptance was used (unless you are an anti-vaxxer and any fake info will do).
