Donald Trump, the Right President at the Right Time

Can't wait to see him re-enter DC, like Caesar in his return from Gaul, in his chariot driving Democrats before him like slaves in chains to be pilloried and hectored by the crowds who have arrived to see the executions on Capitol Hill.:D;)

Anyone who would still vote for trump after all that is known is a complete imbecile. So... nothing shocking in this thread.

Donald Trump

I have always disliked Donald Trump. I have thought he was vulgar and low class. Nevertheless, I wanted him to win the 2016 Republican primary. This was not because I thought he would be easy for Bernie Sanders, who I voted for in the primary, or Hillary Clinton, who I voted for in the general election, to defeat. It was because he seemed to be a new kind of Republican, one who cared about those who had been left behind by economic changes. Someone described him as "a third party candidate running as a Republican."

This delusion lasted until he cut taxes for the rich and corporations. We were already running large deficits. They got larger because of those tax cuts. I am old enough to remember when Republicans believed in fiscal responsibility and balanced budgets. Has it been that long ago? What happened?

Trump is a rough-hewn version of Ronald Reagan. He has studied the Reagan Play Book, the advice of which is to appeal to the concerns of lower middle class whites in order to get the power to make the rich richer.

Trump is appallingly ignorant. He told Bob Woodward that he could pay off the national debt in eight years with "better trade deals." When a campaign aide tried to explain the United States Constitution to him during the 2016 primary, his eyes glazed over indicating incomprehension and indifference. As president he was once asked to read part of the Constitution out loud. He stumbled over the words, and complained that it was like a foreign language.

Trump lacks gravitas. He was the most unpresidential president I have ever experienced or read about.

This from people who voted for a guy who has been in politics for 50 years and done nothing but create the prison industrial complex they call racist because he says this time he's going to fix it.

The trouble with you folks is you don't know anything that's true. You don't know anything until somebody tells you, and that is almost always wrong. This is why we're always right and you people come in sucking hind leg. This is how you got sucked into the Russian collusion, Ukraine phone call, The Trump Tower/Alfa bank connection, two phony attempts at impeachment trials, etc., all of which has been proven to be 100% bullshit.

Ask Biden to recite the Constitution.

amen . i hope he runs in 2024

It’s a given and it will be a landslide of monumental proportions! THEN the fun will begin and the Deep State and marxists will be gone. They’ll scurry into hiding like the rats they are!

And got sucked into believing that masks, lockdowns and “vaccines” would save you from a CCP orchestrated scamdemic. You’re all just plain stupid.

As fun as it is to see Trump induce fits of rage and histrionics from the left.....we all loved to see it. It truly was and still is the greatest triggering of all time. I think strategically his time was right, but it has passed.

If the GOP were smart...and they aren't... they would declare their value set with an official platform/agenda stating what the GOP is about and get some positive populist leadership to actually rally the legislators, mayors, governors and POTUS to actually PUSH for those things.

Be the party of liberty, reclaim liberalism for the right wing.

Be the party that ends the war on American freedom.

Then actually do some of it, like end federal gun control, repeal the NFA, shit can the ATF. Send the people and resources to CBP/ICE  OR if they really really really wanted to cut the (D)'eez heads off.... end the federal war on drugs shit can the DEA, send the peeps/resources to the FDA. It would be a very long time before the Democrats recovered from a RW populist move like that. They would have like 6 states and a few cities keeping others close to purple. But they would be fucked overall for a while.

I think barring any major scandal that DeSantis is easily the superior candidate for a positive, constructive, strategic, proper RW face fucking of the SJW lunatics for the next several years.

But if you just want to burn the house down, antagonism for antagonisms sake, which I do not support or agree with but understand.... then yea Trump is your guy.

Every now and then Bobo is correct....this is one of those times. For the wrong reasons, of course.

45 revealed his cards and was rejected...his time has past. DeSantis doesn't have complete support in the GOP so it's not likely he could win against Biden. Biden's support at election time will be much higher than DeSantis's.

Now, if Biden doesn't run, that is another story. But, Biden will likely be a two term President and go down as a great President (unlike the one termers).
.so, y'all better start praying....that he drops dead.

Come to find out they probably gave you covid with those injections.:D

We are strong people who do not need an LSD reality as the left does.:D

Hell, you've made it clear that you don't recognize reality of any type.

I say let the Deplorables nominate Trump again. His personality disorder did not emerge in the Republican Party from a vacuum, and that Party has not yet been destroyed completely.

Bring it on, Republicans. You've been defending your cult leader since he lost the last election (by a margin that he once called "an electoral landslide"). Nominate him again!!! :D

DeSantis is the wrong guy for a lot of reasons.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's doing a great job for Florida, but he's the wrong guy for President in 2024. There's too much hate on the Left for it to happen. Even if he managed to win the election, which I doubt because of the amount of hate from the Left, that hate will prevent him from being able to do anything.

Conservatives need someone the Left can't hate at that level of extremism. Further, anyone Conservatives run in 2024 is probably going to go head to head against Tulsi who is emerging as a reasoned choice for D's. Conservatives also don't need someone from "the old guard" as their candidate. What they need is someone new, fresh, and unassailable. Someone who has demonstrated his love for the country, has experience in leadership, and has name recognition.

Tell me why that's not Dan Crenshaw.

^^^hey, wait a minute, I thought Trump was the subject of Deplorable adulation on this particular thread. Are you abandoning Trump????
